'...I truly did not realize how allowing people to 'create their own job functions' could slow down the overall organization. The thought was empowerment - but I discovered each employee would have their own priorities...   One person not understanding the impact of their position on another can really throw a monkey wrench into the workflow.'

 Frequently asked questions

Why do we need a consultant?

What are the benefits to me?

What is the process?

  1. Why do we need a consultant?

The outside objectivity of a consultant cuts through old conflicts that obstruct alternative solutions.  Employees talk more freely to outsiders; knowing their suggestions will be confidential and valued as part of the process that will make their jobs easier.  Skills and interests that are of value to the business can be revealed and used to enhance the value of the employee as well as improve the bottom line.

Trillium Advisors, LLC -- Keeping Solutions Simple.

  1. What are the benefits to me?

  1. Employees want to do a good job and make a difference; actively involving them in the solutions gives them ownership and more willingness to make the change.

  2. Solutions are kept simple.  Solutions are built on your past successes.  By focusing on simple incremental change the disruption in the business is minimized.

  3. Keeping Solutions Simple  produced 'painless change'.

  1. What is the process?

A complimentary consultation to determine your concerns, your past successes, your future goals.  We work to clarify expectations before a project begins.

Three Phases:

I.       The Analysis Phase:

This phase involves the entire organization in identifying concerns and potential solutions.

We:

  1. Hold in-depth discussion with management

  2. Interview every employee in a confidential manner

  3. Compile the information in a written report with priorities, suggested solutions and timeframes

II.     The Foundation Phase:

This phase is the implementation or coaching phase.

We:

  1. Identify priorities

  2. Develop implementation methods

  3. Provide training as needed

This includes sessions to coordinate communication between management and employees.

III.    The Refinement Phase

Only 5% of businesses achieve long term success.  They have done so by accepting change as an integral part of their business.

There is no magic wand that sets systems and procedures in place permanently.  Change is part of doing business --- it must be anticipated to stay ahead of the competition.

We:

  1. Review what has been accomplished

  2. Determine additional refinements

  3. Set an on-going monitoring program

It's all about building your BEST  business and Keeping Solutions Simple.
